Why an All-Y membership?
The first step to joining the YMCA is to visit our family center and let us give you a tour. Once we've shown you all the great people, equipment and benefits available at our facility, you can fill out a membership form and choose from a variety of easy payment options; or make your annual payment.
Having an All-Y membership gives you unlimited access to all Ys in the Passaic and Bergen counties. It enables you to use the centers near your home and work. It also gives you access to programs, classes and activities that are unique to the various centers.
Adult Membership - Privileges include:
- Free Weight Room
- Open Basketball
- Track
- Handball/Racquetball courts
- One-Hour Orientation on Fitness Center equipment
- Kit Locker (Annual Members Only)
- Laundry Service (Annual Members Only)

YMCA Military Outreach Initiative - The YMCA of the USA, the Armed Services YMCA and the U.S. Dept. of Defense have launched the YMCA Military Outreach Initiative to offer YMCA memberships to eligible military families and personnel who may not have access to a nearby military facility. The Paterson YMCA is listed as a participating YMCA in tis initiative. To confirm eligibility please call 1-800-342-9647 or www.militaryonesource.com. Youth & Teen Facility Hours:
Monday - Friday 3:00 -7:00pm 4:00pm -7:00pm (summer)
Pool Family Only Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30 pm - 9:00pm
Saturdays - 3:30pm-6:00 pm
Membership/Guest Pass Policy
- * Joiner's Fee - Membership expires three months or one year from the joining date (depending on type of membership). If not renewed within 1 month of expiration date a joiner fee will be assessed each time membership expires beyond 1 month.
- It is easy to become a YMCA member and sign up for programs, just call extension 35, 40 or stop in at the front desk
and charge it to your Mastercard, VISA or Debit Card.
- Guest Passes are $10.00 each visit. Annual members are able to bring a guest for a cost of $7.00 per visit. Parking for members at the Paterson YMCA is limited to annual members currently making use of the facility.
- Membership must be valid through the entire session in order to register for classes.
- Financial Assistance: Membership is open to all. For confidential scholarship information for membership, inquire at the first floor front desk and fill out the necessary information for qualification.
- There is a $10.00 charge for lost membership card or locker key.
- Valuables may be secured in the valuable lock boxes behind the the second floor Member Service desk. The YMCA is
not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

*NOTE: If a current membership is not renewed within 30 days of expiration, a joiners fee will be added to the cost of renewal. Balance on the annual membership is due 60 days after down payment.
